Post changes aren’t saved

    My client gets to a point where he can’t save an article after he changes something inside or even the title. The problem is not permanent though, it just comes from time to time. It occurs even if all plugins are disabled, I’ve disabled them all at some point and the article still couldn’t be saved.

    Plugins, WordPress core and the existing theme are all up to date.

    What can I do? Where is the problem?

    I’ve searched the forums and I tried several solutions.
    I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s because of apostrophes.

    Never use ”. Use ” instead.

    can’t save an article after he changes something inside or even the title.

    You mean using:
    ‘ (as in it’s)
    or
    ” (as in a quote “some quote”)

    Tara follow this: we’ll never use the default quotes from “Romanian” language under Windows, instead we’ll switch to “Romanian – programmer” and use programmers quotes.

    I thought that was the issue, but apparently that’s not it.

    I tried to post something today but the same thing happens and I can’t save the post. At some point I can’t even write anymore in the editing part, it just refuses to write something.

    I’ve also tried to write the article in code mode. Same thing: can’t save it after a while.

    As I mentioned before It occurs even if all plugins are disabled, I’ve disabled them all at some point and the article still couldn’t be saved. WP core, plugins and theme are all up to date.

    The only thought that comes to mind is Mod Security.

    Check your PHP error logs and see if there’s anything at all from that.
