What’s the reason you want the URL removed?

A coworker posted the URL by mistake, the URL is not supposed to be public.

I would then suggest putting a password (protection) on your site – because regardless of whether it was posted on ww.wp.xz.cn or not, it is still public.
Sure, but the URL does not add any value to a reader, so it can be removed without making the whole topic worthless.

That’s not enough of a reason to edit the post, sorry.

So, what’s the real reason you want the URL removed?
Our clients do not want their testing URLS to be publicly posted.

Sorry but per the forum welcome posts are only edited in an extreme case.
It is not the general policy to edit or delete forum posts unless they are spam or outright abuse.
