This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
Please note that we cannot see preview pages — those are available only to admins on your site.

I am not sure if I explained myself very well.
The issue I am having is with missing tabs.
When I go into posts-all posts-edit post.
The box where I write my in has a couple of tags at the top for example OFFwidgest.
There used to be 2 other tabs there that are nolonger there. The Visual and text which I need.
I have tried doing what you asked of me but they have not reappeard.
It would have been great if I could screenshot it for you, but I can’t.

Thank you so much for your help, unfortunately the problem is still there. Is there a way that I can do a re install of my site back to the time when I didn’t have this issue?
As it’s unclear what’s going on, I don’t see that that would be a fruitful path.
Did you disable *all* plugins and change the theme to twentysixteen?

Use the Print Screen button on your keyboard. It’s easier than photos. Anyhow, check your user profile. Do you have visual editor enabled?
