    Hi all,

I created a website for a friend using OceanWP and Elementor. I set up the blog on the WordPress customizer. When I go into the old blog post or try to create a new post, the header is displaying in the editor with the text barely visible over the top of it. I didn’t have this issue with another website using the same theme and plugin. I would like him to be able to edit his blog and actually see what he’s doing but I do not want to get rid of the header art. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Suggestions?

NOTE: THE BLOG WAS *NOT* SET UP USING ELEMENTOR OR ELEMENTOR PRO. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THIS POST STATUS OR THREAD TOPIC! ALL ELEMENTS OF THE BLOG, PAGE HEADER AND BLOG DESIGN WERE CREATED USING WORDPRESS CUSTOMIZER.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • It sounds to me like it is a theme issue causing a conflict with the post editor. Are you using Classic editor for the blog posts? If not, you are using OceanWP so you need to contact them regarding this issue https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/theme/oceanwp/.

@binarywc I’m using whatever the default is. I provided an image in the original post. This wasn’t an issue when the website was initially created earlier this year. I reposted this on the oceanwp thread. I’ve updated the theme, it’s still occurring.

You said in the first sentence of your original post you are using OceanWP and Elementor. So you need to contact OceanWP or Elementor support.

Because the blog is not using Elementor that means you need to contact OceanWP. It honestly sounds like a problem with their theme based on what you said.
