Post Feature Image

Hi there,

Hopefully this is my last question…

I have been researching how to get a large “banner” type feature image on the top of each blog post but have had no luck. I’m honestly not sure if “banner” is even the correct word. This is what I am trying to find out how to do:

I would like a large rectangular box like the rectangular box with the blueberries at this demo link: http://demo.lyrathemes.com/kale/ I believe this is called a banner? Anyway, I would like this to be on each post page. In the box, I would like it to say the title of the blog post in the center (just like the demo) & under that, I would like it still have the line, but the line to be a little longer, & then for the it to say the date under the line (so instead of where the demo says the # comments).
