    Good evening,

I’m working on my website, and on the frontend, users can see details about a post such as selling price, retail price, etc (as seen in the link I’ve attached to this post). The plug-in I’m using to enable users to create their own posts is “WP User Frontend.” As a custom field, I’ve added a text box for “selling price” where users can enter in the price of their item. I wanted to know if there’s an additional css code or some type of code I can use to automatically have an American dollar sign pop up before the number once a user successfully posts their item.

I’m using the “Search and Filter” plug in, so if users manually insert a dollar sign before the “selling price” in the “WP User Frontend” form, that messes with the “Search and Filter” plug-in’s algorithm and it is no longer able to filter by price. So I wanted users to be able to just put in a numerical value in the “selling price” text box, but have it show up as having a dollar sign in front of it after they’ve posted.

    Best,
    Milton

  • Hello Milton,

I don’t think that there is an easy way to do it properly, unfortunately.

But you can try to contact that plugin support and see what they say.

    Kind Regards, Roman.
