Post Grid – Excerpt

Hi, I am using the Post Grid plugin but have come across an issue. It does not seem to be pulling through the excerpt. I would prefer if it pulled through the automatic excerpt (the first paragraph or so) but its not even pulling it through if I manually complete the Excerpt field on the post page.

Not sure if it’s the plugin or my sit settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
