I changed the theme to Donovan, so try to share something on Twitter and see for yourself that there will be no image in the tweet:

Hi Bert,
Thanks so much for using Donovan.
Your website need to tell Twitter and Facebook which images and content should be used for sharing. This can be done by adding Open Graph meta tags to your website.
Some themes add these, which is not a good idea since it is more plugin territory and not design related, and you will loose sharing features once you switch themes.
So this is better done by a plugin. If you’re using a SEO plugin like Yoast SEO you can check your SEO settings first. Most SEO plugins have extra options to add open graph meta tags and improve the search results.
If you don’t use a SEO plugin you can also install https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wonderm00ns-simple-facebook-open-graph-tags/

Thomas
Thanks, Thomas, this plugin does the work!
Cheers,
Bert
