Hello @john1295 ! We do already bring these best practices directly to you while you are creating your stories. The prepublished checklist in the editor can be found in the bottom left of your editor. It will alert you when there are priority items missing as well as offer suggestions for your story. The checklist will also be displayed in the modal that opens right before publishing a story to alert once more.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Hi Luckyna San,
Thanks for your reply, but the thing is they won’t get alert while clicking on publish button. They won’t click on checklist every time in the rush of publishing the stories, because every day the writers will have some target so they won’t get notice that checklist button. Instead if you guys provide alert / model box stating that : “These are the fields you have to fill it is mandatory to publish this story” then they won’t skip any of the element values. Now it’s not validating anything it blindly inserting into database, so the current validation is not the proper one. Hope you’ll give some solution for this.

What is the user role of these users? The modal with these warnings/requirements always displays on click of the publish button.
You can see in this screenshot of the modal the Poster image is required.
Hi Luckyna Sen,
Can you send as a video for which you’re stating that on-click of publish button it is throwing an alert.
Hi Luckyna San,
I saw your recorded video, On that popup there is one more publish button is there, if you’re not adding anything (like don’t add story title, description and poster image etc…) it’s blindly submitting without validation. The popup should not allow to publish the story. That’s how validation should be, so please consider this functionality as fine tune solution. Hope i can expect this in next release / update of the plugin.
@john1295 This is not something we have planned at the moment, but I’ve created a feature request so we can consider it in the future. Feel free to monitor that GitHub issue for any progress on the matter. Thank you for your suggestion!
Ok, thank you @luckynasan
