Post Import Order Id’s

    Hi,

    Our order ID’s used to run e.g. 2201, 2202, 2203 etc. I exported all orders and upon re-importing, any new orders made started with the ID #10022 then 10023, 10024, 10025 etc.

    Why the sudden jump in ID’s? I would like to keep the ID’s sequential even after export/import process.

    Hi @linuxmatt,

    There might be already existing posts on your site with the same ID as in the Order CSV due to which the orders are imported with a new ID. If the ID specified in the CSV is already existing then Woocommerce will automatically assign next available ID to the imported orders.
