• Kadence offers a lot of post layouts from the get go. The sidebar themes however do not look good because the sidebar runs across the entire page, even through the featured image which diminishes the look of the image. Is there any way (custom CSS) to edit the layout so that the sidebar begins from below the featured image like in this theme: https://hemingwayrewrittendemo.wordpress.com/

  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please note that the featured image will show inside the content area(<main>) which is separate from the sidebar(<aside>) and there is really no way you can adjust it to how you want using custom CSS code.

However, on the example website you gave, the featured images of the posts were set to be the background image of the post title section.

You can achieve this too using the Kadence Theme by using the ABOVE CONTENT Post Title Layout and enabling the Use Featured Image for Background? option – https://share.getcloudapp.com/llukjpyp.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
    Karla
