Post List Design

Hi there! I’m having trouble changing my post list design on my main page. I selected alternate thumbnails options and it looks right in the preview but when I go to the site it’s back to the grad layout.

I’d also appreciate some help in changing the navigation bar. I’d like the text to be a bit larger and possibly put the social media icons on the same line.
