The newsletter advising subscribers of new posts doesn’t go out automatically. When I ‘release’ post on the post notification page – they don’t go out either.

Does “elp-postnotification” ring any bells? Look at your list of installed plugins.

Email posts to subscribers is what it says in a list of plugins on the menu
