I had a post notification widget set up in my sidebar and it showed the most recent post in a lovely flyout menu coming in from the right

Now it’s completely changed and it leaves white space in the container beneath it and the the post box slides into it from below.

(The icon also went full width, lost it’s pointer cursor event and the posts number, which I’d hidden with css randomly reappeared. I changed these in the css but it was very annoying… still)

It seemed to happen overnight, but I do have automatic updates switched on so I’m assuming it happened in an update. I saw there was another update available so I ran it in the hope that it would fix the problem, which unfortunately means that I can’t roll back to the version before it occurred

It’s still fine in the Elementor editing screen, but has changed on the front end (In all browsers)

If it’s a bug, please can you look into it, and if it was intentional please can you let me know how to change it back to a flyout from the side

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Could you please navigate to your WP Dashboard -> Premium Addons -> Widgets & Addons tab, disable dynamic assets and let me know if it did the trick?

    Regards

Yes it worked! If I leave this switched off will it affect the performance of my site?

You can keep it disable and we are currently trying to reproduce the issue to check what is going there and fix it 🙂

    Hi @harmlessvikmartin

Could you please try the steps below and let me know if it did the trick?

    • Make sure you have Premium Addons v4.10.30 installed
    • Enable Dynamic Assets Generate from your WP Dashboard -> Premium Addons -> Widgets & Addons tab
    • Open your sidebar template on Elementor editor
    • Make any simple change (just to make the Update button clickable) and click the update button.
    • Check things on the frontend.

It’s fixed on Chrome now but the problem still shows on Firefox and Safari

I’m totally sure that this has nothing to do with the browser. Please clear your site/browser cache and check again

You’re right, of course. It’s working fine now. Thanks so much
