I understand you would like to select a specific author to include posts from in your post notification emails.
At the moment, there’s only a built-in setting to include/exclude specific categories or tags. For filtering by author, the best workaround at the moment would be for the authors on the site to include a tag for themselves on each of their posts, and then set up the Post Notification to filter for those tags.
It would also be great if you could add “filter by author” as a suggestion/enhancement request on our feedback/ideas board here: https://feedback.mailpoet.com
