    Hi @webdesignberlin11,

The error you’re seeing is related to DHL Packstation or Postfiliale deliveries, which require a valid Post number (name2) for the consignee.

If you’re sending to a regular home or business address, please make sure:

    • The Packstation or Postfiliale option is not selected
    • The Post number field is left empty

The plugin does not require a Post number unless Packstation delivery is chosen, in line with DHL’s API rules.

Let us know if the issue persists after checking those settings.

Hello, in Germany there is no need for filling in a post number when someone chooses “Postfiliale”. I read this in the business rules, otherwise when i prepare online a manual delivery and choose Postfiliale, the system replies with no errors.

    Hi @webdesignberlin11,

    Thank you for the clarification.

You’re right that in some cases DHL does not enforce the Post number when manually booking Postfiliale deliveries. However, the DHL API we’re using still requires the Post number (consignee.name2) when the delivery type is set to Postfiliale, even if the web portal might not.

We’ll double-check the latest API behavior and update the plugin logic if this requirement has changed.

    Appreciate your feedback.

    Best regards,
