Hi,

I can’t seem to find out how to enable Post Options for my custom post type. When editing a post created with the default post type, I see a section titled Post Options under the body with options to toggle settings like the header, footer and layout. And on the right hand side there is also a Template dropdown that allows me to choose the base layout for the post, such as a theme, or maybe an Elementor template. These options are all missing from the custom post type I create with this plugin. Any help appreciated.

I learned that my theme, or child theme, provides those post options, and that the theme’s template needs to enable support for the custom post type. (https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/23674/can-i-assign-a-template-to-a-custom-post-type#answer-264573)

Since I’m using the Jupiter X theme, it thankfully had a place in settings to do this without having to edit any code. I was able to go into Settings > Custom Post Types and select my custom post type so it can use all of the theme’s features.
