Post Overview Tab stuck open

    Recently I clicked on the post overview tab for interest, but now it opens every time, even on pages. It seems to be slowing down, and even stopping the editing but I do not know how to reset it to be always off. I have tried clearing Firefox site data, but no effect on it. What next, please?

    Update , I have cleared the above list view, by clearing the “Always open list view Opens the block list view sidebar by default.” button in settings. but now have two posts which I can not save after editing, and come up with the screen below when opening again:

    Replying to myself again! – There are only two posts that are causing problems now, although I can still edit them on the mobile app. So If I can just copy them, I shall just delete the originals. Strange, this is the biggest problem I have had in 10 year’s use of WP, so very satisfied with service so far, thanks to all.

    Do I understand correctly that the two posts open, you see them and then they reload completely?

    You are nearly correct, it seems that only the two posts are affected (they are both set to private) and I can edit them on my android phone, but not on my iMac computer, nor on a Win10 laptop. It seems they are the only post affected, and the rest of the ste editor works normally. Below are the Plugins installed and I have jut updated Sydney theme.

    My guess is that a JavaScript error is causing the problem. You should be able to see this with the JavaScript console: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/documentation/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/ – you may also be able to recognise the actual cause.

    Another test would be to deactivate all plugins.

    Thanks Again, the faults seem to apply in any browser on 2 different computers, so, because the rest of the site is working fine, I think I shall jut delete the two posts and put the content in a fresh one. Unless the errors in the image above give anyone a clue about what could have happened.

    I tried deactivating Plugins to no avail, so I shall try making a new post with their content and mark this thread as resolved. Thanks for your replys
