Post preview display

Hi all, I’m new to the Origin theme and I was wondering if there is a way to change the way my posts are displayed on the main site. The structure (line breaks, bullets, et cetera) shows up fine in the permalink of the post but I am hoping to get it to show in the “preview” that appears in the line of my blog as well. Here’s my site: http://www.weekendradical.com (the experimental first post has line breaks and bullet points to illustrate what I mean).
