Post series – replacing URL

    My theme has a post type called post series. However all my post series’ links contain “=?post-series” in it. So, I wanted to change them, however even I save after change the link, it does not update the link.

    Hi @pektezol

    Which Theme are you using? Maybe, that theme doesn’t allowing the Plugin to work with that post type. Need to check this with the theme.

    My theme is WPVoyager. In case you want to check, below is an example of one of my post series page.

    Hi @pektezol

    I think, Permalink is not working for this Post type. WPVoyager is paid theme so, i can’t confirm this thing to you.

    Please create one administrator account for me on temporary basis to check this issue. then you can deactivate that account.

    @pektezol Thanks for creating an account for me.

    Actually, Post Series is a custom Taxonomy and this plugin doesn’t support the Custom Taxonomy at the moment.

    Currently, I am working on this and provide Custom Taxonomy functionality in this week.

    @pektezol Custom Taxonomy Functionality has been provided on Permalinks Customizer Plugin.

    You can check that plugin. That Plugin is the advanced and enhanced version of this Plugin.

    I own both of these plugins so, if you have any kind of query just let me know.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately all my post series pages are gone and they are either pages saying 404 not found or pages showing home page instead of relevant posts. I tried to leave them blank to go back to previous version, unfortunately it does not work too.

    I have sent you the new access details to your e-mail…

    @pektezol Are you using this plugin or you have moved to Permalinks Customizer as i have written earlier that this plugin doesn’t work with Custom Taxonomies. So, this plugin doesn’t affect on your Post Series Permalinks.

    @pektezol I have accessed your site and found both of these plugins are disabled (Custom Permalinks and Permalinks Customizer)

    Make sure to enable only 1 plugin at a time. Otherwise, things may conflict.
