Hi @amosnier
The dynamic slide generators are working from cache, and will keep displaying the records coming from the state when the cache was generated.
If you want the dynamic slider generator to pick up the new data, then you either need to wait for the cache to expire ( depend on “Cache expiration” value that you specified in the Generator Settings: https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1725-dynamic-slide-basics#cache ) or you should manually clear the cache of a single slider from its Slider actions menu:
or the cache of all sliders from our Global Settings > Clear cache.
Note: I answered this question here because this functionality works the same way in both the Free and the Pro version. But from the slider template you used I can see you are a premium user. If you have any other question or problem that is connected to a premium feature, then please note that on this forum we can not provide support for commercial products as per the forum guide lines. So in that case please rather get in touch with us directly over the ticket system:
and we will help you there.
Best regards,
Laszlo.
Thanks so much for the answer, Laszlo.
Within the generator, I had also to select the new category which was not.
And when I saved the slider, the cache was automatically cleared.
Yes, when I will have a next question connected to a premium feature, I will use the ticket system.
Best regards, Alban

Hi @amosnier
If you generate dynamic slides from certain categories only, then yes whenever you add a new category and you want the generator to pull the records from that category, then you need to select that category as well, since we will only generate dynamic slides from the categories that you selected.
But if don’t want to filter the categories at all, then you could simply select the “All” option from the list, and that would make the slider display the posts from the new categories, too once the generator cache expires or you clear it manually.
