However, I’m having the exact same problem with the first tile not working — not clickable, no mouse-over animation. I’m using WP v3.5 and turned off Jetpack.
Has there been a resolution for this?

I have some problem .. with first tile. The link it is ok but the animation not work.

ps: problem happend when Display the Category Key is “HIDE”. When is SHow .. everything is OK! 🙂

I tried the url you provided but I couldn’t see post tiles displaying anywhere.
Double check the shortcode and make sure it isn’t wrapped in a tag. Sometime when you copy the shortcode from the plugin example codes it coppies the styling too.

It’s totally an understandable mistake. And your not the only one to do that. I’ve contemplated removing the bold from the plugin page but I think the bold calls out what to do. So it’s good and bad. Gla you like the plugin!
