I’m not sure what you mean by they don’t work. What doesn’t work? Are you not seeing the options when you edit the post? Are you seeing the option but they aren’t having an effect when you load the page? Is it having trouble saving?
The option is showing but they don’t have an effect when I load the page.
Some post types don’t register their slug correctly and that can cause problems. Because Plugin Organizer will be looking for a different slug. Which plugin are you having problems with? I can install it on my test site and see if I can figure it out.
Well, I use a plugin called “FL3R FeelBox” which adds reactions under posts.
I need it to be disabled inside another plugin I use to write blog posts that is called “WP Blog and Widget”.
I installed both of those plugins on my test site. I created a test blog and disabled the Fl3r Feelbox plugin on that blog. It worked. The css files for Fl3r Feelbox were not loaded.
I also didn’t see the feelbox after turning it off on that blog post.
Are you using pretty permalinks?
Yeah, I think I do, you mean custom structure?
It works for me. You must have something else causing the problem.
Still haven’t figured this out.
The funny thing is that it used to work.
Any thoughts on what I could do?
You could modify the plugin organizer code on your server and have it print out the url it is receiving. Also you could have it print out the databse row it is finding to see if you have a plugin filter or page that is interfering with it.
Hello again!
I decided to give it another go since you got a new update out and this is one of a kind plugin. I think it was something so simple and silly as ignoring url protocol as my site has SSL.
I set it to On and now it seems to be working again 🙂
