    Hello,

    Hope you are well.

    I think after updating Autoptimize, there have been some issues. I use cloudways safe updates to update my website, and the last 2-3 times that I have done this, I have noticed that the homepage is not displayed correctly but the other pages work fine. When I deactivate autoptimize, everything is fine.

    I checked dev tools when the issue was happening and found this “paradigmshift.com.pk/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_dc4bcd8….css because its MIME type (‘text/html’) is not a supported stylesheet MIME type, and strict MIME checking is enabled.”

    Would appreciate your help. The plugin is disabled right now since this is the time most traffic is coming.

    P.S. the only other change I made ws turning varnish off (server side cache)

    Warm regards

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    hey hbk747;
    typcically this happens when there is HTML in a page cache that contains references to an autoptimized file that has been removed from cache. clearing all page caches you (or your host or 3rd party service such as cloudflare) might have should fix the problem. additionally when “aggregate CSS” is active you migth want to make sure the “404 fallback” option (on AO’s main settings tab, near the bottom) is active.

    hope this helps,
    frank

    Hey, yes clearing all cache did help but not sure why this has started happening all of a sudden. It would not before. I just did another update and I see this in the dev tools “DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for https://www.paradigmshift.com.pk/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/frontend.min.css.map: HTTP error: status code 410, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE”

    Is this the same thing or something else?

    Warm regards

    source maps are for developer usage and are only requested when you have developer tools open, so not relevant 🙂
