post_modified not working when using pods form

I have a local system running with php version 7.0.25 and the current version of Pods. post_modified when using the Pods form gives the correct update date. However, running another instance of WordPress on a host server with php 7.3.22 and the current version of Pods, post_modified doesn’t change when I make the change with the Pods form. Gravity Forms, on the other hand, gives the correct information. Thus it seems something changed in php that wasn’t addressed in the Pods form. I prefer the Pods form since it displays a thumbnail of each image loaded but would like to have the post_modified problem fixed.
