post_type conflict

hi

I have installed a plugin for downloading pdf files whose post_type is “download”, as well as EDD.
I also have installed a plugin for expiring posts, which only detects one “download” post_type, so I can’t expire EDD products.
is there any way to change the post_type?

as edd_log and edd_payment are defined, perhaps it would be better to define edd_download
