after staring at the source for a bit we think we found the exact line that is the problem. if we get rid of the word “hidden” below that will instantly reveal the postal code. is there anyway that can be updated in the square plugin please?
<div class=”form-row form-row-wide wc-square-credit-card-card-postal-code-parent wc-square-credit-card-hosted-field-parent hidden”>
<label for=”wc-square-credit-card-postal-code-hosted”>Postal code<abbr class=”required” title=”required”> *</abbr></label>
<iframe id=”wc-square-credit-card-postal-code-hosted” name=”wc-square-credit-card-postal-code-hosted” class=”wc-square-credit-card-payment-field js-sv-wc-payment-gateway-credit-card-form-input js-sv-wc-payment-gateway-credit-card-form-postal-code wc-square-credit-card-hosted-field-card-postal-code wc-square-credit-card-hosted-field” frameborder=”0″ width=”100%” scrolling=”no” height=”26″ src=”https://pci-connect.squareup.com/v2/iframe?type=postalCode&version=ffb77b668a”></iframe>

Hi there @whitebox4,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re seeing this behavior on your site!
It was already reported to our developers and the problematic CSS will be removed in the 2.0.6 version of the plugin.
Can you please advise if you tried the suggested fixes from here and here?
thx for getting back to me Elvira….yes i tried the first solution with no luck but did not really spend too much time on it……i would much rather it was fixed with a new plugin update instead of me manually changing the files. glad to hear its getting fixed….do you have a rough release day for 2.0.6?
Hi there @whitebox4,
lad to hear its getting fixed….do you have a rough release day for 2.0.6?
Our developers do not have any ETA to be announced but since there are a few fixes to include to the new version, I wouldn’t expect it earlier than December this year although it might as well be released sooner.
Meanwhile, I’d recommend you to try a suggested workaround, just be careful and create a full site backup before editing any plugin files directly.
Meanwhile, I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
