Postie Generates ‘Fatal’ Error

    I have been using Postie for over a year now without problem. But since 25 May whenever I try to Process Email in Postie it generates a WordPress “Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue” error and doesn’t process (beyond creating a ‘tmptitle’ draft). The site itself seems fine otherwise. It’s a pretty “simple” WordPress site with just a few plugins besides Postie and I haven’t changed anything recently beyond keeping WordPress up to date.

    I’m not a developer so I’m not sure where to begin troubleshooting the issue. Help?

    Did you resolve this? My install is doing the same, I installed it and tested it a few weeks back, now I have come to use it it’s not picking up any messages. It runs the test fine and detected 5 queued messages, but it wont pull them from the server automatically and if I run ‘process e-mail’ the site returns a technical issue after a minute or so.

    @pawaww no I have not resolved it and I have not received a reply from the plugin author. 🙁

    Hi @mantic59 , I think I have solved my issue.
    I must have had a problematic e-mail on my mail box, I cleared my mailbox so there was no queued messages and it work, I then sent a simple text e-mail and my webpage and postie processed it like normal.

    I can only assume I sent to large or a format postie didnt like, I was testing sending a webpage to PDF and then onto Postie, it must not have like something. My suggestion is to clear your mailbox too so it if works with a simple email.
