Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I tried all of these solutions. I’m not sure QUITE how to run the FTP scan on Cyberduck (the only program I could get to work). I’ve followed bluehost’s instructions and everything seems installed and in place…. but I don’t know how to actually RESET the plugins folder. I don’t have any inactive plugins as of now, however….
