  • When you write your post, highlight/select the words or phrase that you want to become a link. Click on the “link” item in your editor menu bar, and add the url. It creates a normal hyperlink. Here is the one from the example you cited;

    <a href="http://dashes.com/anil/2009/04/fair-use-for-fair-people.html">related response from Anil Dash</a>

    I think it is likely that the author highlighted “related response from Anil Dash” while writing the post, clicked on the “link” item in the editor menu bar, and pasted

    http://dashes.com/anil/2009/04/fair-use-for-fair-people.html

    in the pop-up box. I hope that is what you meant. 🙂
