Hi Andrew as per description information on the front of the plugin.
Security Scanner
The file change detection scanner can alert you if any files have changed in your WordPress system. You can then investigate and see if that was a legitimate change or some bad code was injected.
It refers to the WordPress system like php and other files on the backend of your WordPress.
I hope that helps you.

Hello and thanks for the reply.
So, are you saying it does ‘not’ scan pages and posts? The reason I ask is that my site was somehow hacked and web links were embedded into pages/posts.
Thanks
Andrew
Hi Andrew have you updated the plugin to the latest version? It also includes a DB Scan. I forgot to ask you above which of the three options are you currently using from the Scanner section?

Hello and thanks for the reply.
I am using the latest version yes. Still don’t see anything in the reports though about post/page changes?
Thanks
Andrew
I just did a DB scan and nothing suspicious was found.
For me at least it would be ideal if I could get a report about ‘post’ update changes with the report which is sent when a normal scan is performed. That way I would know if someone has got in and added hidden links to a post/page and remove them immediately.
Thanks
Andrew
