Posts as keywords for Google?

Has anyone ever heard of creating posts, saved as public, yet not using them on a page or visible on the site. Just a list of possible keywords in the post with the hopes of getting Google Analytic feedback of the keywords that are just listed on said post page. Is that an acceptable practice, does it help, can it hurt?
