    Hi, I’m currently edit my website pages (Ocean WP theme) with Elementor and I added the Livemesh Posts Carousel at the bottom of the Homepage. All fine, except the size of each individual post within the carousel, and here I mean both the featured image and the text excerpt. Although I already set the posts excerpt of max. 20 words, in the carousel the excerpt goes beyond 50 words and only after that the “read more” […..] appears. Also, the featured images are too large.
    In a nutshell, I’m not able to set posts size there, within the carousel.
    What’s the solution? thanks!

    To reduce the size of featured image, you can increase the number of columns in the settings or increase the gutter size. To manage the excerpt, I would recommend having manual excerpts entered for each posts – https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Excerpt#How_to_add_excerpts_to_posts. This should be easy enough (better control over SEO as well) unless you have large number of posts.

    @livemesh, the problem is not to reduce the image size, but to have the same size for all carousel’s items! There are other carousels that display same size items, automatically reducing the fonts size, the thumbnails size etc….unfortunately, those don’t match the theme I use, or the page builder, not sure which one.

    Unfortunately, we don’t have such an option at present although the featured image should resize based on available width. Not sure I understand your requirement fully.
