Posts keeps deleting

    I am facing a Bizzare issue with my WordPress site. The posts from my WordPress site get deleted after few days, and sometimes it restores automatically, but most of the time, it looks like the WordPress is automatically restoring the entire thing from the backup as I can see the updates for the plugins and theme that was previously updated.

    WordPress itself has know knowledge of your backups.

    The behaviour sounds strange. Do you have any automated backup plugins? Is there a developer or host that could be ‘fixing’ things without communicating?

    I just verified there are no plugins installed for automated backup however softaculous takes regular backup of the websites.
