Posts not expiring on Multisite sites

I am using Multisite Content Copier to copy posts from my main site to my 15 external sites. The Post Expirator works fine on the main site but not on the external sites. I have worked with the Multisite Content Copier authors (WPMU DEV) and they said they checked the cronjob, and all the cron are in queue for making the post expired but after the expired time, the cron job is fired, but nothing changes. They think the function postExpiratorExpire is having some issue with Multisite support. That’s mostly over my head, but the bottom line is that the expiration date does successfully carry over (in post editor) when I copy a post to the external sites but the external sites do not expire the post at the designated time. Is there anything you, or I, can do so that Post Expirator works on external sites when using Multisite Conetent Copier?
