  • By default your posts are going to show in chronological order (the most recent post first)

To change the amount of posts displayed on the home page, navigate on the dashboard to Settings >> Reading

There is an option there to change the amount of posts, default should be 10.

Go to Settings > Reading and change the number for “Blog pages show at most”.

    2. How can I move a post to the front page? If it is changing the date, how so? Or is it a sticky post situation?

Not 100% sure what your question is but if you want to display the blog posts on the front page, go to Settings > Reading and tick the “Your latest posts” for the “Front page displays”.

I was thinking if I could change the posting date, a plugin would not be needed.

I loaded in 20 stories but edited and saved in no special order, then realized …

AH I saw the edit button under date. Now I can rearrange everything 🙂
