Posts on static frontpage

I searched for a way to show posts on a static front page on many WordPress forums. Some suggest a modification of the code, others said it was contradictory of the way WordPress works, as posts can only show on dynamic pages.

BUT, I FOUND an easy way, with no programmation.

First, you set WordPress to show last posts on front page. Then, you go on the menu settings, create a link to the root of your site (actually the page you want as the post page and the front page!), give it a name and add it to the menu. Obviously, you have to create a menu and use it on the site.
