Posts showing as “Pending”

Hi,

I have a problem with posts syncing over to Apple News via the Publish to Apple News plugin, version 1.2.0. There are 5 live posts which are showing as “pending” when looking at Apple News > Filtered on status Pending.

Prior to the 8th of January, we were publishing via the Publish to Apple News plugin 1.2.0 successfully. In Apple News settings, auto-publish and auto-update to Apple News are both ticked, and the Channel ID, API key and secret are all saved.

We updated WordPress v. 4.6.1 upgrading to WordPress version 4.7 on the 6th of Jan. The 5 stories are not publishing over to the Apple News server. Apple News confirmed they have not received any of the 5 pending stories onto their platform via the API since the 8th of Jan.

I update the Posts, using the built in Post Update button, but nothing changed on the story status in Apple News. I de-activated auto-publish and auto-update to Apple News to see if this enables a sidebar button to appear in Post edit screen Apple News panel to force a re-submit/sync, but it does not appear to.
