Posts Won’t Publish??

    I run a gaming website, Terminal Gamer, and suddenly my posts aren’t publishing. When I hit the “publish” button, it takes me back to the “Edit Posts” page and shows the post saved as a draft. Every time it erases my SEO information, Excerpts, Images and Tags.

    Is anyone else having a problem posting or is it just me? What could the problem be?

    I am the administrator, by the way, and we’ve been running for months without a problem.

    By the way, my website is running on the theme “Magazine 1.0”, which I’ve modified a bit.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    The weird thing is: I was publishing until near midnight last night and haven’t updated a plug-in in several days. So I don’t think it’s a plug-in issue.

    In fact, I post about 5 to 10 posts a day and this is the first instance of trouble I’ve had.

    I even created a new, test post just to see if it wasn’t publishing because of something in the post’s html code, but that wasn’t the problem either.

    I’ll try fooling with the plug-ins, though.

    That worked! I don’t know what plugin it was because I reinstalled all of them and it works now, but thank you!
