    I’ve tried to get emails working on my website for a while now, due to people placing orders via WooCommerce, but it never seems to work. I always get a message saying “Post SMTP is not configured and is mimicking out-of-the-box WordPress email delivery.” and no test emails ever deliver to my personal email, despite it saying ” Your message was delivered (33 ms) to the SMTP server! Congratulations :)”.

    I use wizard to try and set it up and finish it and it says “Great you are all done!”, but I go back and I’m still seeing the “Post SMTP is not configured and is mimicking out-of-the-box WordPress email delivery.” message. I’ve got the Post SMTP plug-in installed.

    Probably something quite simple I’m just not getting, but for the life of me I can’t work it out. Cheers.

    This is where Post SMTP comes in. The plugin allows you to configure your preferred email service provider, overriding the default WordPress mail function to ensure reliable email delivery.
