    Hi,

There may be a bug with the “info-wrap” parameter.

I have implemented a Gallery View with the following:
    fullscreen-info-top=”{item} / {items}” info-wrap=”true” fullscreen-info-top-secondary=”{description}”

But the (2-line) description fetched seems to truncate randomly and not show as wrapped text. I tried swapping values between info-top and -secondary in the f/s mode, but that didn’t make any difference. It is also not clear from the documentation on the Placeholders page whether “info-wrap” applies to only some specific instance of info display or any where info tags are used.

    Hi Naveen,

Thanks you for reporting! I tried to react very quickly – I hope I understood correctly. Please try 2.1.7.

    Thanks, @janzeman

I’m on auto-updates and already on 2.1.7. I still see the same issue on desktop + mobile screens.

The documentation is also still unclear which “info” tags it affects. Does the position matter?

    Hi Naveen,

Can you please share your exact shortcode and some screenshots of the error? Either here or via email. Thank you!

    Hi @janzeman,

Hey, I’ve created a test page and shared the code block I am using and the test page link via DM.

As you can see from the first image in fullscreen mode, the wrapping is not working and the text is still truncated.

Hope we can get to the bottom of it soon.

    Hi @naveenbachwani ,

It turned out this is not a bug in the plugin but a limitation of the format Google publishes. I added this warning to the plugin guide:

⚠️ IMPORTANT LIMITATION: Google Photos limits descriptions to 100 characters. Longer descriptions are truncated. Use info-wrap=”true” to allow wrapping if you have longer descriptions, but be aware of this hard limit from Google.

    Thank you for reporting!

    Best regards

Hmmm. Ok thanks for the clarification. Now I know.

Does limit what I can do with my gallery though, since I intended to create longer descriptions for multiple pics that could serve as photo blog entries.

I’m sure the test page helped in the diagnosis.
