Potential client not able to order

I am new to Paid Member Subscriptions. I had been testing to see if I could imitate the process using Stripe in test mode, and forgot to put it back in live mode. A potential client reached out saying she wasn’t able to process her payment because it said it was in test mode. I went back and reset it, and saved the settings. Now she tries to sign up again, and it says she is already registered. I had gone in and canceled her membership, hoping that would help. She tried it with two different emails, and it still says the email is existing. Should I have her try clearing her browser history, or is there something else she should try?
