• Hi guys,

I’d asked a pre-purchase question a fews days ago for which I’ve still not received an answer. After adding the question, the form said “Thanks for submitting your pre-purchase question. We will respond to your question(s) as soon as we can.”

Its a simple question: do you have an upgrade path from one of the plugins to the extensions bundle. E.g. I purchase social login, try it out, find that it works seamlessly as expected, and now I’m confident that I’d like to use all the rest. Will you then charge the difference in price between the extensions bundle and the single plugin?

A lot of companies allow this upgrade path and its a great method.

    Please let me know. Thanks.

Don’t hold your breath on having any support from the developers, it’s nearly none existent.

The main reason why paid support is “nearly none existent” (SIC) is that they are victims of their own success as part of a small team of WP developers.

Regardless, their lack of support is doing the opposite of what they want. Pity.

Lack of support for paid extensions? Their paid extensions work just fine. If you are in need of support for a paid extension then you’re probably doing something wrong. Maybe there will be a script bug once and while, but they quickly fix it the minute is reported.

Don’t feel pity, instead feel happy that they gave you such a great plugin and you paid $0 for it. And, not only you don’t have to buy their extension products, if you’re smart enough, you can create your own with the same extended functionalities.

In this case, the OP is concerned with price, not a script error.

Well they might be shooting themselves in the foot if they don’t respond in time. I would imagine that a question from a prospective buyer is really the most important, since its an almost certain sale.

In the case, their social login plugin has no free version, so cant be tested.

The demo page (https://ultimatememberdemo.com/register/) says “This is the default register form but also has our social login extension activated.”. Well, it DOESNT. So once again I cant try before purchase.

And they aren’t answering my query… strange, or?

I see no social login extension either.

But that’s entirely a different question altogether. You asked a pre-purchase question which was quickly answered here by Muzirajoshua.

I remind users that we are not here to discuss their paid-extensions. This is a WP board to provide support for UM the free plugin, not a UM board or their complaint board.

    Thank you.
