Hi,
Can you share a link to the website? I’d like to take a look on my mobile device and open up the web inspector so that I can look for the cache.
Does the website also have mobile-specific content? If it does then this option can be enabled but if the site doesn’t have a mobile-specific theme and is just a responsive theme that works on Desktop and Mobile then this option wouldn’t need to be enabled to serve cached content to mobile devices.
Thanks!
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Is it possible to send private since I cannot disclose customer domain here.
Thank you.
Hi,
Thanks for the update. Unfortunately it’s not possible to send us a message privately, but I just want to check if the site does use a mobile-specific theme or if it just uses a responsive theme that might hide / show content on mobile using something like CSS media queries. If there is no separate mobile-specific theme then you might not need to enable the option for generating separate cache files for mobile devices.
Since you aren’t able to share the link depending on your mobile device / computer there should be a way to check the web inspector from your mobile device using your computer so that you can look at the HTML source code at the bottom to check if you are being served a cached version of the page or not. If you happen to have an iPhone and a Mac I can send you the steps but if you’re using an android device and Windows then there should be something available on a google search that will let you perform the verification.
Thanks!
It’s been a while since we heard from you so I am closing the thread.
Feel free to reach out if you have any further concerns
Hello,
On mobile device the view source is showing but i can clearly see that desktop the page is instant while mobile device is not. Mobile device still needs to load each page.

Hi,
Is the HTML snippet you shared from the mobile device? If so then our plugin is definitely serving a cached version of the page but there might be something else causing the mobile device to respond slowly. Have you tried the site on multiple devices?
