Marko, in the event it may be one of my plugins or theme causing the issue, I tested on a clean install of WordPress, together with just Yoast and Total Cache. Was still having the same issue. It has got me beat, I am afraid. I have decided to give up and try another route.
However, thank you very much for your terrific support in trying to resolve this.
