Preload not working. No support?

The ability to pre-load the cache was extremely useful. But any editing activity now seems to wipe the entire cache. And even without editing, the cache seems to disappear rapidly.

Without pre-loading, infrequently visited pages will only cache when someone first visits (ie they won’t get a cached version) and this cache may then expire before the next person visits, (so they won’t get a cached version either).

Sadly although new versions keep appearing, none seem to address this problem which has been going on for several months. And the authors no longer seem to offer any support.
