Preload Video or Buffer

    Hi,
    i test FV Player for my new Project but have the issu that i can’t select time on wich the video start to play.
    If i go to Time 10min on the Video and Click on Play the Video start everytime from time 0. My video is on my server storage but fast forward doesn´t work 🙁

    Short update.
    I test it now with a smal Video that is only 10min long and it works. But if i have a Video with 1 hour it doent work. How can i optimize it

    Hi Umland,

    You’d need to use streaming hosting for a video that long or wait a long time for the video to buffer. You could put your long video on line at a lower resolution with higher compression (smaller file size). We’d recommend putting a CDN in front of longer videos or indeed any videos which will get quite a few views (speeds up downloads around the world).

    Thanks, now i use Amazon S3 and all works fine.

    Perfect. FV Player supports both Amazon S3 and even encrypted HLS in Amazon Cloudfront.
