Preload custom fonts and icons. And an example I have custom icon packs in elementor and I would like to preload those font woff/2 files. Since they are used above the folder and in navigation I would like to utilize the power for Assets cleanup to do the preload. Right now I still run a custom php snippet for it.

I think the documenation of elementor and 2.6 has to be read since I do not know if they change the generated ?query-path upon regeneration of css etc. This so the preload doesn’t have to be changed every time. Meaning more dynamic than static if possible.

@alriksson The latest version of Asset CleanUp now allows you to add the paths to the local font files to be preloaded. Check “Local Fonts” menu item from the “Settings” page and let me know your feedback.

Hi @gabelivan I saw that I will check it out during August thanks!

Of course, be easier if it could automatically detect them and enable preload.

@gabelivan Can we make assets cleanup detect images as well or add global preload feature per CPT? So that I can preload things based on CPT?

Maybe I want to preload the hero image based on CPT etc.

But would, of course, be best if we in the future can preload per page in a scaleable way. So I can preload hero image which is for many unique per page level.

@alriksson Asset CleanUp doesn’t deal with images, but it might, depending on what users want. After all, the image is an asset. Were you often in situations when you needed to preload the hero image when working on your website or for clients? By CPT, are you referring to custom post type?

@gabelivan I would say that page-level would be the most suitable, to be honest. So it would be good to detect the images as well and be able to preload them.

CPT correct custom post type. But don’t think it would suit too many users. And for me only for a few months until things get more individual designs.
