Preloading cache

    Hi. I have a question about preloading the cache.

    Does it only preload once and then that’s it? I have the plugin scheduled to preload weekly but the last time it preloaded was over two weeks ago.

    Hi,

    The preload should run according to the schedule.
    If it hasn’t, it could be a sign that there’s an issue with CRON on your site.

    Hi. The last preloaded date doesn’t change but I do see that the number of files and the filesize of the cache fluctuates without me doing anything. It went from 400 some files down to about half that, and now it’s up to over 400 files again. If CRON isn’t working correctly then do you have an idea what this could be?

    Hi. Yes, I think so…

    Right now I see that there are only 48 files cached (I definitely have more than 48 pages/posts on my site) and the last preload date says October 30.

    @gokumew2 Do you have a SEO plugin with a sitemap setup?

    There could be an issue with this.

    Yes, I think it preloads correctly when I start it manually.

    And yes, I use the All in One SEO plugin.
