Preloading Only Works Partially

    The preload is only preloading roughly half of my site’s URLs. I confirmed this in the logs as well. Below is the log output (sanitized).

    As you can see, the preload correctly identified 97 URLs total from the 5 provided sitemaps, but only 50 URLs were actually preloaded. The preload completely missed 47 other URLs that should be cached.

    I just switch from WP-Optimize to this caching plugin since I just joined Cloudflare. WP-Optimize also identified 97 URLs from those 5 sitemaps, but it correctly caches all 97 URLs. (I disabled WP-Optimize’s page cache after installing this plugin so I don’t think it is a conflict or anything like that).

    I also confirmed by FTP’ing into my server and only see the 50-ish HTML files in the /wp-content/wp-cloudflare-super-page-cache/<DOMAIN>/fallback_cache/ directory.

    Inside the plugin settings page > FAQ tab > under advanced questions section you will find the define statement to change the preloading no from 50. You can add that to wp-config.php to increase that number to as per your requirement.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

    I have a few questions, if you don’t mind. Why is that not a configuration in the plugin GUI? Why does this limit even exist to begin with?

    I am just trying to fully understand this before making any changes. That way I full grasp everything without any unforeseen mistakes.

    The reason it’s not in the GUI cause for most sites more than 50 URLs are not required to be preloaded. Also if you preload something and then it has no traffic, Cloudflare will remove the data from the CDN.

    But as this is an advanced requirement, you can add the extra WP Config Constants to increase that number.
